Author Kanakappa Vaganageri is originally from Yadagiri district. He has completed his M.A.B.E.D. and is working in a government high school in Devatkal. Kanakappa Vaganageri has a special interest in folk literature and writes short stories, novels and poems. The book ‘Biriyaado Gnana’ was edited by him. His short stories have been published in the newspapers of ‘Mayura’ and other magazines. Presently he is residing in Vaganageri, Surpur Taluk, Yadgiri District.
