M.S. Sriram was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, and educated at Udupi, Bangalore, Mysore and Ananda Institute. After working for two years in an NGO in Hyderabad, he obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Later, he worked as a lecturer at the Ananda Institute of Rural Management, Vice President at BASIC Institute, Hyderabad and Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Currently working in IIM Bangalore. Sriram’s first collection of stories ‘Mayadarpan’ has won the Masti Kannada Sewanidhi Award. He has published an anthology of ‘Avaravara Satya’, ‘Tel Maalish’ and ‘Salman Khan’s Difficulties’. ‘Kanasu Kattuva Kaala’, ‘Shanivara Santhe’ are his essay collections.
