Poet Lakshman (Malavika) Kanakuntla originally hails from Raichur district. After completing B. A, B.Ed, M. S.W., along with M. Phil, he is presently working as a teacher. He is also a trustee of the institute ‘Ondede’ and is involved in writing and social services. 

 He is the co-editor of the work ‘Attention Please’ and has published works like ‘My-Mana’ and ‘Bharvase’.
