N.S. Sridharamurthy- Journalist, Columnist, Author N.S. Sridharamurthy holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Mangalore University with Gold Medal and Rank. Having started his career as a lecturer, he entered journalism through ‘Mallige’ monthly magazine and has been working hard to save cultural journalism for the last two decades. He has studied film history in depth. He has contributed immensely in the field of literature and spirituality. His major works are ‘Simhavalokana’, ‘Naguva Nayana Madhura Mouna’, ‘Manjula emba endedndu Mareyada Hadu’, ‘Sahitya Samvada’, ‘Hadu Mugigyuvudilla’, ‘Sinima ennuva nale’. ‘Cultural Study of Kannada Film Songs’ is his research work. Sridharamurthy, who contributed majorly in the fields of literature and culture, has received many honors and awards including RNR Puraskar and Suvarna Karnataka Puraskar.
