Seshadri or Pattabhiramaiah Seshadri is a famous Indian film director. Born in the village of Dandinashivara in Karnataka, he has a master’s degree in Kannada literature and a diploma in journalism. Seshadri, who has made a unique achievement in the Kannada film industry, gained fame with the films ‘Munnudi’, ‘Athithi’, ‘Beru’, ‘Thutthuri’, ‘Vimukti’, ‘Bettada Jiva’, ‘Bhaarat Stores’ and ‘December-1’. He is the first director to win 8 consecutive National Film Awards for other films, including the National Film Award for his film ‘December – 1’. He has also worked as a director for many television serials.
