Paul Zacharia is a well-known writer; He has been crisscrossed in literature and journalism with ease for the last six decades.
Basically, he is a world-renowned short story writer and novelist from Malayalam literary world. His journey started with a short story compilation Kunnu in 1969. Since then he has published 17 short stories compilations. From Bhaskara Pattelarum Ente Jeevithavum to Zachariyayude Novellakal he has written seven novels. He also an avid traveler and written six travelogues. As an essay writer, children’s book writer, translator and screen play writer he has contributed immensely to the world literature. Hundreds of his English write ups have appeared in almost all major publications of India.
Paul worked with All India Mangement Association (AIMA), Press Trust of India (PTI), India Today (Malayalam) and Asianet. He is the recipient of ‘Kendra Sahithya Academy’ and ‘Kerala Sahithya Academy’. ‘Ezhuthachan Puraskaram’ the highest literary honour of the Kerala Government was been bestowed upon him.
