Present generation creative writer Poornima Malagimani pursued Electronics and Communications Engineering from S.J.M.I.T, Chitradurga. Having served as an officer in the Aeronautical Engineering Department of the prestigious Indian Air Force for six years, Poornima is currently working as a Joint Deputy Director in the Central Government Organisation. She has authored many works including ‘Anyone but The Spouse’ a collection of English short stories. ‘Ijaya’, ‘Agamya’, ‘Preeti Prema Pustakadacheya Badanekayi’ (Novels) and ‘Doodle Kathegalu’, ‘Love Today’ (Co-authored, short stories) are her other fictional works. Many of her technical and literary articles have been published in various Kannada newspapers and online journals. Her story ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ won the first prize in the ‘Book Brahma Swatantryotsava Katha Spardhe-2022’.
