Senior journalist, author, and storyteller Raghunatha graduated in Journalism and Kannada Literature. He started his career as a journalist and is currently working as the managing editor of Sudha Varapatrike. Holeyalli Harida Neeru, Olagu Male Horagu Male (Stories), Ragimudde, (Essay Collection), Chellapilli (Essays), Cartoon Vishwarupa (History of Cartoons), R. Nagendra Rao, Dr. Devi Shetty, Bill Gates, Anna Hazare (life pictures), Sati Sulochana (Kannada’s first spoken word story), Chandanavanada Chinnada Hugalu, Puttalakshmi Kathegalu (children’s stories), Ankana Vyayoga are his major works.

He has received the Gulbarga University Endowment Prize and Gold Medal, Katharangam Award, Kannada Sahitya Parishad Vasudeva Bhupalam Endowment Prize, Vardhamana Award, K. Sambasivappa Memorial Award, Dr.R.Bendre Trust’s Grantha Prize and Best Book Prize of 2019 from Karnataka Sahitya Academy for ‘Bellithore’.
