Ravikumar Kashi is an artist and amateur writer originally from Bangalore. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts, Bangalore and pursued a Master’s from the Faculty College of Fine Arts, Baroda. He is engaged in creating artworks in the fields of film, sculpture, photography and installation. He also delivers lectures on visual culture in India and abroad. His book ‘Kannele’ has won him the Kannada Sahitya Academy Award. He has created works not only in Kannada but also in English. His work ‘Sena Parva’ has been published in both Kannada and English languages.
