Journalist, film director and lyricist Sumana Kittur has directed some of the best films in the Kannada film industry. She has worked as an assistant director under journalist Agni Sridhar. She has directed the films ‘Kallara Santhe’, ‘Edegarike’, ‘Kiragurina Gayalilu’ independently. She won the Karnataka State Special Film Award for her films ‘Kallara Santhe’ and ‘Edegarike’.
