Vijaysree Haladi -Poet, children’s writer Vijaysree Haladi is a graduate of M.A.B.Ed. Surakki Gate, ‘Bija Hasiraguva galige’, ‘Pappu Nayiya Preeti’, Saku belakina Matu, Kadanchina Urinalli, Pat Patekai Chata Pata’ are his major works.
For his achievements in the field of literature and children’s literature, he has received the 2015 Karnataka Sahitya Akademi Book Prize, Mumbai Kannada Sangh’s Sushila Shetty Memorial Award, Kannada Sahitya Parishad’s Sharada R Rao Endowment Award and the 2023 Central Children’s Literature Award for Surakki Gate.
