Poet and critic Vikram Visaji is working as Head and Professor of the Kannada Department of Karnataka Central University, Kalaburgi. Vikrama, who started writing poetry as a child, published a collection of poetry while still in high school. A graduate of Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi, he received his Master’s (MA) degree and his PhD for his thesis on the poetry of Kambara. “Tamasha’, ‘Goodu Kattuva Chitra’, ‘Vikrama Visaji Kathegalu’, ‘Bisila Kadina Hannu’ (Poetry), ‘Belagina Mukha’, ‘Nadagalu Nudiyagale’, Pathyada Bhavavai’ (Critique), ‘Rasagangadhara’, ‘Rakta Vimapa’ (Plays), ‘Kambarara Natakagalu’ ‘Matte Bantu Shravan’ (Compilations), Greek Hosa Kavya’, ‘Indrasabha’, ‘Simon da Bova’ (Translations) are his major published works.
